David Gaus visit to Tulane Medical School

As reported by AHD Board Member and Professor Emeritus, Tulane University, Dr. Barnett Cline MD, MPH, Ph.D. On October 16th, 2007, Dr. David Gaus spoke at his medical school alma mater -- Tulane Medical School in New Orleans. David was invited by the medical students to speak about his work in Ecuador. The event was extremely well attended (70-80 students) and was received with great interest. Later in the day about 15 of these students had an additional hour to meet with David for an informal question and answer session. The following day, David gave a similar talk to students at the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, also extremely well received.
